Elmhurst is a primarily residential neighborhood located in northwest Providence that offers a mix of single family and multi-family homes. Modest Colonials, Capes and Bungalows are the predominate house types which are typically set on city-sized lots along tree-lined streets. Providence College, RI College and Lasalle Academy contribute to the neighborhood’s character. Elmhurst offers more economic choice of appealing housing than many of the neighborhoods under discussion. This is another great East Side of Providence alternative!
